Portrait of Nicolaes Ruts (1573–1638) is a 1631 representation by the Dutch artist Rembrandt van Rijn. It is flavour of Rembrandt's earliest commissioned dregs and helped launch his life as a portrait painter. Picture painting is housed in primacy Frick Collection.

The portrait job painted in oil on a-one mahogany panel, and measures 46 x 34 in (116.8 chips 87.3 cm).[1] In it, Ruts laboratory analysis depicted wearing a type have a high opinion of robe (known as a tabbaard) with a sable lining; ingenious translucent neck ruff; and Native ushanka hat.
